Introduction

This course explains the purpose and procedures followed in Road Safety Audits according to AustRoads guidelines. 

 

Target Audience

The course provides individuals with ways to formally address road safety issues before accidents occur through case studies of audits already undertaken. Day and night audits of select local projects are performed by individuals. 

This course is for design engineers, construction engineers, road transport officers, maintenance engineer, road safety officer with state police or those who are considering a career in these fields.

Learning Methods

This is a 2 day course face to face course. All course material will be provided digitally to student during training. Students are requirement to bring a laptop and/or tablet to class.
