NSW Traffic Control and Management Combo

CivilEdge is approved by SafeWork NSW to deliver Traffic Control Work Training (TCWT) and this short course addresses the skills and knowledge for traffic control work and for Traffic Controllers.

This combo course addresses the skills and knowledge for personnel responsible for traffic management on a site to implement a work zone traffic management plan in the immediate vicinity of a workplace. The course also addresses the skills and knowledge for those responsible for stopping and starting traffic in temporary traffic management using a stop slow bat or boom gate.

QLD Traffic Control

This short course will provide the knowledge and skills to control traffic with a stop-slow bat, to work safely and follow work health and safety policies and procedures and to effectively communicate in an operational role in traffic control.

This course consists of two parts (classroom and workplace) and learners must successfully complete both to be deemed competent. 

This course is an approved traffic controller training program in Queensland and will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to safely control traffic with a stop-slow bat.

QLD Traffic Control Refresher

In Queensland, your Traffic Controller Industry Authority Card must be renewed every three (3) years. It is your responsibility to ensure that you maintain current accreditation when performing traffic controller duties. To renew your traffic controller accreditation in Queensland, you are required to demonstrate Currency of Industry Practice as a Traffic Controller and successfully complete the Transport and Main Roads (TMR) approved training program.

QLD Traffic Management Implementation

This short course will provide learners with the knowledge and skills they need to interpret and implement traffic management plans and install/remove signs and devices in accordance to traffic guidance schemes for roadwork ensuring traffic flow is maintained and safety of the public and workers is maximised.

This course consists of two parts, a theory component and practical component, both must be successfully completed to be deemed competent.

QLD Traffic Management Implementation Refresher

This short course is designed for Traffic Management Implementation Officers looking to renew their TMI accreditation. The Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland require all renewing traffic management implementers to complete the TMI renewal program every 3 years before their current accreditation expires.
