QLD Traffic Management Implementation Refresher
- The successful completion of this course will provide learners with a Statement of Attainment, Certificate of Currency and TMI Accreditation Card
Introduction
This short course is designed for Traffic Management Implementation Officers looking to renew their TMI accreditation. The Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland require all renewing traffic management implementers to complete the TMI renewal program every 3 years before their current accreditation expires.Target Audience
Course requirements:
Learners are required to:- Be 18 years of age or over
- Have Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills to ACSF level 2 or above
- Provide a copy of 'Working in Proximity to Traffic Parts 1 and 2' certificate (link here)
- Provide a completed 'Currency of Industry Practice' Log (to support your x3 occasions of work, TGS, Toolbox, SWMS Risk Management Plan) (link here)
- Provide a copy of your QLD TMR Traffic Management Implementation Card
- Provide a copy of your Statement of Attainment for 'RIIWHS302D/E Implement traffic management plan' (not required if you have completed your previous course with CivilEdge)
- Bring your own PPE (including eye protection, hearing protection, hard hat, steel capped boots, long pants and high visibility shirt / vest / jacket)
Evidence of the above MUST be provided before participants commence the TMI Renewal Course. If participants are unable to provide this evidence they will not be allowed to commence the course.
Interstate Accreditation:
The training requirement for a TMI to work on QLD roads is dependent on the individual's currency of industry practice (COIP) and the evidence they have to prove currency. The amount of evidence, or lack thereof, will determine whether an individual will be required to complete the QLD TMI full program or the QLD TMI renewal program.
