Introduction
This short course is for students who are looking to transfer their TC1-TMI1 tickets to South Australia. This course provides localised content for completion.Target Audience
This skill set if for individuals looking to transfer their tickets to South Australia. Learners will complete South Australia state specific training and upon successful completion will receive a Statement of Completion.
Course Requirements:
Course Requirements:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have Language‚ Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills to ACSF level 2 or above
- Must hold the unit 'CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry' or equivalent (e.g. White Card).
- Must hold the unit 'RIISS00058 Traffic Controller Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads' and 'RIISS00060 Traffic Management Implementer Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads' to be able to transfer from any state to Victoria.
Learning Outcomes
- Carry out face-to-face routine communication
- Communicate using communication equipment and systems
- Control traffic with a stop-slow bat
- Control traffic with (and operate) portable traffic control devices
- Clean up work area tools and equipment
- Identify and assess unacceptable risk
- Contribute to the implementation of risk controls
- Plan and prepare to Implement Traffic Management Plans
- Set out and monitor the Traffic Guidance Scheme
- Commission portable traffic control devices
- De-commission and remove portable traffic control devices from site
