Introduction

This short course is for students who are looking to transfer their TMI3 tickets to South Australia. This course provides localised content for completion. 

Target Audience

This skill set if for individuals looking to transfer their tickets to South Australia. Learners will complete South Australia state specific training and upon successful completion will receive a Statement of Completion. 

Course Requirements:

  • Have Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills to ACSF level 2 or above (not required if previously completed with CivilEdge)
  • Completion of TMI 1 - 'RIISS00060 Traffic Management Implementer Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads'
  • Provide evidence of at least three (3) months experience applying skills and knowledge relevant to the above-mentioned skill set in a temporary traffic management workplace that must include setting up at least 12 temporary traffic management types including high speed roads, and at least two of the following design types:
    • pedestrian and cyclist controls
    • construction sites
    • lane closures
    • shoulder closures
    • night works
    • use of portable traffic control devices

Please bring your own PPE to the course (including steel capped boots, broad brimmed hat, eye protection, gloves, long pants and high visibility shirt / vest / jacket).

  • Set out and monitor traffic guidance scheme for motorways and freeways
