Introduction

The ASHTAS Installer A  Course is the second stage of the ASHTAS series of courses. This course is designed for operatives seeking accreditation in the installation of road safety hardware.

 

Target Audience

This course aims to ensure individuals understand the requirements for installing‚ inspecting, maintaining, and repairing Road Safety Barrier Systems (RSBS) and the Installer Requirements within the ASHTAS Training Framework.

Course Requirements - 
Learners are required to:
  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Have Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills to an ACSF level 2 or above 
  • Hold a White Card (CPCWHS1001 or equivalent)
  • Hold ASHTAS Operative e-card (Book for the Operative course here - ASHTAS Operative Course)

Learning Methods

This course is a 1 day course delivered face-to-face or via blended learning online. The course consists of theory, class participation, theory assessment and completion of e-logbooks.

Post course logbooks must be completed and will submitted and assessed by Lantra.
