VIC - TTM Short Term Low Impact
- Certificate of Completion for Short Term/ Low Impact
Introduction
-Cx208.jpg)
Short Term/Low Impact (STLI) works are temporary, low-risk tasks conducted without accredited traffic management personnel. They follow simplified Traffic Guidance Schemes and are approved through a site-specific risk assessment, ensuring they do not require a Static Worksite.
This course is non-accredited and therefore not linked to a unit of competency.
Examples to determine whether a short-term low impact worksite is an appropriate traffic management measure-
1. If the works are to protect major construction or a deep excavation that will take hours or days, then a static worksite with barriers may be appropriate (see AGTTM Part 3) e.g., not STLI work.
2. However, if the works are minor (e.g., pothole repairs, vegetation trimming) or can be performed quickly along multiple sites then a mobile (see AGTTM Part 4) short term, low impact worksite may be appropriate.
This course may be suitable for, but is not limited to, the following professions:
Tree Loopers, Grass-Mowing Workers, Graffiti Removalists, Concrete Pumpers, Non-Destructive Digging Operators, Builders, Construction Workers, Surveyors, Park Rangers, Farmers, Roadside Assistance Operators, Emergency Services Personnel, Warehouse Workers, Car Park Attendants.
